30-year-old Shot dead her Grandmother after a little argument in Houston; turns herself in from guilt
Houston, TX: A woman from Texas was taken into custody following her purported confession to authorities regarding the shooting death of her grandmother in Houston.
The 30-year-old Kelsie Miles was arrested and charged with murder on Sunday by the Dallas Police Department. She is said to have murdered her 80-year-old grandmother, Betty Lou Hearn at their East Oak Cliff residence.
Miles phoned the Grand Prarie Police Department of the incident at approximately 5:10 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to Fox News Digital’s reporting.
“Miles did drive to the Grand Prairie Police Department where she met officers outside in the parking lot and told them about the shooting in Dallas,” a representative for the agency said.
“Officers detained her and contacted Dallas PD who responded to our detention center where they took custody of her.”

The Dallas Police Department issued a news release stating that emergency personnel arrived at the site of the incident in order to aid the victim.
“Officers responded to the address, and after receiving no response from anyone inside and having reason to believe someone may need immediate medical help, the officers forced entry into the home,” according to the report.
Officers found 80-year-old Betty Hearn shot to death on the floor once they entered the building. After Dallas Fire Rescue arrived, Hearn passed away on the spot.
The Dallas County Jail was the destination of Miles’s transportation following her arrest. She is currently being imprisoned there on a bail of $750,000.
