3 Juveniles and 1 Adult Arrested After Car Jacking Gone Wrong in San Diego
San Diego, CA: A stolen GPS-equipped vehicle led police to arrest a juvenile trio accused of firearm violations in San Diego. In a Facebook post, the San Diego Police Department reported recovering a stolen handgun, a ghost gun, and three juveniles being sent to juvenile hall.
After the police arrived, the suspects dropped pistols in a desperate attempt to escape. The Airborne Law Enforcement (ABLE) crew dramatically stopped their flight.
Three suspects faced serious accusations for the firearms seized at the site. San Diego Police are detaining two teenagers for “a variety of firearm charges” and one for “an outstanding felony juvenile detention order.”
One adult was also booked in the county jail by the police after the tried to help the trio escape from the police. The trio had stolen the car but the owner of the car called the police and informed them that the car was equipped with a GPS device.
