3 Cars Collided on Bay Bridge Killing a Woman; 2 Arrested for DUI
San Francisco, CA: According to the California Highway Patrol, an accident on Sunday morning on the Bay Bridge in San Francisco resulted in the death of a lady and the arrest of two more people for suspected DUI.
Around 3:16 in the morning, a blue Honda sedan traveling east on Interstate 80 just west of Treasure Island collided with the rear of a Mercedes SUV that had pulled over in the number 2 lane for an unidentified reason, according to the CHP.
The 25-year-old female driver of the blue Honda, who may have been from the Concord area, got out of her car and was standing in the number two lane when the gray Honda struck the back of her blue Honda, which then struck the Mercedes. It also hit the woman who had gotten out of her blue Honda.

Following her hospitalization, the woman, according to CHP, passed away from her wounds.
After complaining of pain and being sent to the hospital, the driver of the gray Honda was ultimately hauled into custody on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. According to CHP, the Mercedes’ driver was not hurt, but he was also taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving.
Between 4:12 a.m. to the conclusion of the investigation, lanes 1-4 were closed.
The authorities did not release the identity of the victim. More information has not been furnished by the authorities.
