3 Arrested After Massive Drug Bust in New Castle, Pennsylvania

New Castle, Pennsylvania: The New Castle Police Department arrested 3 people after a successful drug bust in a house in New Castle. All the 3 detained individuals are from Detroit.

Police said that two search warrants in Lawrence County found drugs, guns, and cash.

Police in New Castle said that search warrants were carried out on East Poland Road in North Beaver Township and Hamilton Street in the city. Police said the warrants had to do with a drug investigation in New Castle and the places around it.

The police confiscated the following items after the drug bust:

  • Crack Cocaine
  • Crystal Methamphetamine
  • Heroin
  • Fentanyl
  • 5 Cell phones
  • 2 Handguns

They also confiscated digital scales and more than $2,800 in cash.

The arrested individuals are being charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two counts of receiving stolen property related to two stolen guns, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

They are being held at the Lawrence County Jail. The authorities have not released the identities of the arrested individuals.

Police searched Hamilton Street and arrested five people. Charges are still being considered by the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.

The Lawrence County High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Group, the Lawrence County CIRT, and several local police forces were all involved in the search warrants.

The New Castle Police Department took to Facebook and said, ” The New Castle Police would like to thank all of the Officers and the Agencies involved in this case and commend them for their excellent work.”
