23-Year-Old Shot 3 Times in a Drive-by Shooting in San Diego
San Diego, California: A 23-year-old man was shot several times by another driver. The San Diego Police Department said that the shooting incident happened on Tuesday.
In the Mountain View area, a suspect driving a red vehicle struck the driver of a BMW with gunshots several times, according to police on Tuesday. According to Officer John Buttle of the San Diego Police Department, the shooting took place on Monday at 6:23 p.m. in the 4000 block of Messina Drive.
According to the police, the 23-year-old victim and a companion were conversing when a red vehicle drew up next to them. The shooter in the red car opened fire on the black BMW and injured the driver.
His wounds weren’t life-threatening when he was taken to the hospital. Officers from the SDPD Special Investigation Unit arrived on the scene and began looking into the shooting.
The victim was shot 3 times and has gunshot wounds in the left leg, hand, and nose. The other passenger in the car was not hurt at all.
The shooting suspect is on the large and the authorities are looking for him.
