21-Year-Old dies after getting stuck under conveyor Belt in Georgia
Columbia County, GA: An employee working on a contract at a golf cart manufacturing facility in Georgia passed away when she became trapped under a conveyor belt while attempting to retrieve AirPods, as reported by a colleague.
The tragedy occurred on Friday at the Club Car facility located on Washington Road. The victim has been named as 21-year-old Alyssa Drinkard of Grovetown by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
According to her co-worker’s statement to the deputies, Drinkard accidentally dropped her AirPods beneath a conveyor belt. According to the story, she got trapped in the conveyor belt chain and became pinned under the machine as she went to pick them up.

The colleague requested maintenance to deactivate the equipment and dismantle it. According to the complaint, Drinkard was found unresponsive by EMS and firefighters, who had to dismantle the metal frame to extract her.
After extracting her, paramedics promptly transported Drinkard, who was still alive, to a nearby hospital. According to the sheriff’s office, she passed away due to her injuries on Saturday morning.
