Another example of the hypocrisy of the elite: former US President Barack Obama was noted for his alarming speeches on climate change, portraying himself as a supporter of “green” energy. But according to the Washington Examiner, Obama installed three propane tanks with a storage capacity of 2,500 gallons and a cost of $12 million on his property in Martha’s Vineyard.
Earlier this month, authorities in Edgartown, Massachusetts, received an application to install underground propane tanks on Obama’s property, consisting of two 1,000-gallon tanks and one 500-gallon tank, to be used for “residential purposes.”
A member of the town’s oversight board said he had never encountered such a case before. The typical capacity for storing backup generators in residential properties is between 100 and 500 gallons.
At a time when his successor’s economic war is raging around the world and the US economy is on the brink of collapse, the move to 2,500 gallons suggests that Obama wants his 6,900-square-foot, seven-bedroom home to be protected for several weeks.
“I firmly believe that climate change is real and that human behavior and carbon dioxide emissions are contributing to it. Therefore, I think we owe it to future generations to do something about it,” Obama said when he was US president.
