Elon Musk is right to be worried about bot accounts on Twitter—and shareholders should be worried as well.
“Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users,” Musk tweeted early Friday morning.
About two hours later he tweeted: “Still committed to acquisition.”
Twitter said in a recent filing that less than five percent of it what it calls its “monetizable daily active users” were “false or spam accounts” during the first quarter of 2022. There are many in the tech community and on Wall Street who think that’s an absurdly low number and that the real figure is much higher. Twitter gave no indication about how it arrived at the five percent figure, leaving room for doubt. Musk wants to “see the receipts,” as they say.
For the sake of argument, let’s say that Twitter is wrong and that the real number of fake accounts is higher. If the undercount is just a few percentage points, so that the real figure is seven percent, it’s probably not a big deal. What would be a big deal is if bots make up one-third or even half of Twitter’s daily active users.
The legal liabilities that would be associated with underestimating bots on that scale would be enormous. There would be suits from advertisers claiming they had been misled about how many genuine human beings were seeing their accounts. Shareholders would sue saying they had purchased shares at prices pushed artificially high by Twitter’s misstatements. Bondholders could sue alleging that they had been misled. Regulators such as the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Trade Commission might bring lawsuits. Even users might be able to successfully sue Twitter by showing they had expended time and money to grow their reach on the website based on how the idea that they were reaching real people and not a “readership” made up of thirty-percent spam bots.
Even bot developers might have a case alleging they were damaged by the concealment of so many other bots on the app. Although it might be a hard sell to a jury to explain how you would not have spent so much time creating Twitter bots if you had known that so many other users were also bots.
I do not think it is possible to estimate the size of potential liability that could emerge from a significant misstatement about the number of false accounts. Since the liabilities could come from so many directions, however, it is not impossible that they amount to more than the total value of Twitter. It’s definitely within the realm of possibility that they amount to more than Twitter could afford to pay and would have to declare bankruptcy. The bankruptcy of Purdue Pharm following opioid-related misdeeds, some of which it pled guilty to, is a reminder that misleading the public and customers can be fatal for a business.
So why is Musk worried? After all, he was not the one running Twitter at the time of potential misstatements. But he would inherit the liabilities for Twitter’s misdeed by acquiring the company. More precisely, the liabilities would still be Twitter’s liabilities after the acquisition. If the damage awards were high enough, Elon would wind up paying tens of billions for a company that would then get handed over to its creditors in a bankruptcy trial or dissolved entirely.
It would make sense if some of those extending credit or equity for the deal pointed this out to Musk. The banks that have said they will provide credit for the buyout may be concerned about the potential liability. Some of the equity partners may also. No one wants to extend funds into a potential black hole of legal liability.
Of course, if Musk, his partners, or his creditors are worried about potential material misstatements about daily active users, shareholders should be also. Without Musk’s bid, shares would already be far below where they were before he became involved. The entire digital media technology sector has fallen out of favor with investors. If Musk were to walk away from the deal because Twitter’s numbers were found to be untrustworthy, shares would crash. Breitbart News also reported earlier this month that Hindenburg Research, which is reportedly positioned to benefit if Twitter shares fall, recently said the shares might fall by 50 percent if Musk broke up the deal. That was before Musk publicly questioned the daily user count. If Musk were to walk because he found shenanigans in the numbers, shares would likely drop by even more.
Twitter futures plunged in overnight trading but were down by just 8.5 percent by midday Friday. This could represent some investors’ understanding that there’s a lot of money to be made if Musk goes ahead with the deal at the agreed-upon price. At the current price, there’s a 30 percent upside if the deal goes ahead as announced.
(Natural News) Oh no! Another scary-sounding disease called “monkeypox” is supposedly spreading, which means the powers that be are getting ready to unleash another round of plandemic tyranny that is sure to include yet another magical new “vaccine” delivered at warp speed.
The World Health Organization (WHO), which we know is actively engaged in bioweapons research, launched an emergency meeting in the United Kingdom to discuss the alleged threat of monkeypox. The United Nations arm claims that “cases” of the disease are expected to “double” from nine to 18, requiring intervention.
Authorities are already stockpiling more smallpox vaccines, which they say will treat people who may have already been exposed to monkeypox. The UK government has about 5,000 injections in its existing national stockpile and has ordered another 20,000 as a supplement to that.
According to the “experts,” homosexual and bisexual men are the number-one spreaders of monkeypox, so perhaps there will be a “remedy” released just for them to help stop the spread.
“One potential course of action to be raised will be whether vaccination with the smallpox vaccine made by Bavarian Nordic, known as Jynneos in the U.S. and Imvanex in the UK, should be used for contacts of people known to be infected,” reports the Telegraph.
“The vaccine is only approved in the UK for protection against smallpox – despite the virus being eliminated since 1980 – but can be used ‘off-licence’ to protect against [monkeypox].”
Is monkeypox a gay disease?
Even though ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) were completely off-limits for use against the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) because that would have been off-label, it is apparently just fine to start injecting suspected monkeypox cases with smallpox vaccines.
The “experts” claim that the smallpox jab is the only non-replicating virus in the world for smallpox or monkeypox, reducing a person’s risk of disease by about 85 percent.
“If a person receives the jab within four days of infection, the vaccine can modify the course of the infection and improve their prognosis,” the Telegraph claims.
“There is growing concern over the outbreak, which constitutes at least nine cases in the UK and has been seen in various other nations. Health teams have been deployed worldwide to isolate and contact trace affected people, with gay and bisexual men urged to pay particular attention to any new rashes or lesions on their body, particularly their genitals.”
Of the nine cases of monkeypox that have been identified in the UK so far, six of them occurred in men who have sex with other men. This suggests that monkeypox might be a gay disease.
“We are urging men who are gay and bisexual to be aware of any unusual rashes or lesions and to contact a sexual health service without delay if they have concerns,” announced Dr. Susan Hopkins, the UK Health Security Agency’s (UKHSA) chief medical advisor.
Prof. Kevin Fenton, also of the UKHSA, added that he wants everyone to be “aware of the signs and symptoms, which include rashes around the mouth, as well as around the genital area.”
New cases of monkeypox are also said to be appearing right on schedule in France, Italy, Sweden and Australia, as well as in the United States, Spain, Portugal and Canada.
With the way the media is talking about monkeypox, it would not be any surprise to see this become the new “covid,” replete with mask mandates, social distancing edicts, and eventually jab mandates once another Operation Warp Speed-type vaccine drive is launched as the “cure.”

(Natural News) It would appear as though the rulers of this world have decided to let the cat out of the bag concerning their exploitation of children in pursuit of eternal youth.
New research from Stanford University suggests that the blood, organs and other body parts of children and babies are a fountain of youth that could provide endless life for those who partake.
Researchers tested their hypothesis on mice, implanting the brains of baby mice into adult mice. The result was an improvement in brain capacity in adult mice, a process that experts say can also work in human applications.
An examination of the implants showed that fluid in the new adult brains had “woken up,” including the regeneration of neurons and myelin, the latter being a fatty material that protects nerve cells within the hippocampus, the memory center of the brain.
In reporting on the study, the U.K.-based Telegraph newspaper nonchalantly tweeted that siphoning the life essence from innocent babies and giving it to adults who hope to live forever has long been “revered” in “cultures” throughout history.
The blood of the young, the paper added, can help slow the aging process. (Related: Remember the adrenochrome conspiracy theory? It seems this was conspiracy fact after all.)
“Youth transplants” could become available in just a few years
Based on the findings, Stanford scientists are already positing that the general public might soon be able to obtain a baby’s blood and use it for anti-aging purposes such as curing dementia.
“Experiments are even showing that young blood itself can reverse the aging process, perhaps even curing Alzheimer’s disease,” the study revealed.
This life-extension technique is said to have already been used by former North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il to help him live longer. Reports suggest that he injected the blood of young, healthy virgins in an attempt to lengthen his life.
“Harvesting the blood and body parts of the young in the hope of achieving immortality has long been a familiar trope in horror novels and conspiracy theories,” the Telegraph further tweeted.
Sarah Knapton, writing for the paper, revealed that so-called “youth transplants” may only be a few years away. Soon, Big Pharma could bring to market baby’s blood drugs that the elderly would be prescribed in order to cure their ailments.
If you think it sounds lunatic, think again. They are revealing all of this now, probably because it has been happening at the upper levels of society for many years.
Only now are they going public with it, acting as though it is some new breakthrough when the reality is that it has probably been going on for a while now, hence why there has been an aggressive push to keep abortion legal.
The Planned Parenthood baby body parts racket that we have been reporting on for a few years now is more than likely connected to the youth transplants industry. Perhaps the publishing of this new Stanford study is an attempt to hijack the narrative ahead of the whole thing being blown wide open on the world stage.
“I am convinced this has already been happening, which is why the sick, deranged, pro-choice putzes have been so worked up,” wrote someone at Summit.news. “Many conspiracy theorists including ‘Q’ have exposed this.”
Another wrote that these horrors have probably been taking place since before the time of Noah, seeing as how there is nothing new under the sun.

The “Tribe for Death,” as they call themselves, is “Pro abortion” and “Anti pregnancy,” according to the group’s Instagram bio. The social media page currently has 57 followers and 10 posts as of February 16.
As of now, most of the posts are pro-abortion memes that target both the Students for Life group on campus and the pro-life movement at large.
“Hey there tribe for life … DISCLAIMER: this account is 100% a joke aimed only at clowning our campus’s anti abortion group,” reads the Instagram profile for the Tribe for Death.
The College Fix attempted to reach out to the group about its purpose, and to see if there are any other activities it engages in outside of Instagram. As of this writing, the Tribe for Death has not responded.
“The Instagram page is aimed at Tribe for Life, the campus pro-life organization that is affiliated with the national Students for Life of America,” writes Sophia Corso for The Fix.
Why hasn’t Instagram banned Tribe for Death for bullying pro-lifers?
According to Corso, the sole purpose of Tribe for Death, upon deeper investigation, is to harass William & Mary’s pro-life students and their groups. It is a bullying endeavor, in other words.
This would seem to go against Instagram’s “community standards,” but since it is a left-wing cause, it is apparently not a cause for concern. Were it the other way around with the Tribe for Life harassing and bullying the pro-death cult, however, Instagram probably would have already taken action.
A representative from Students for Life of America (SFLA) says it has tried to get in contact with the Tribe for Death, but to no avail. This group has also not released “an official statement regarding the Tribe for Death account on Instagram, but they have attempted contact through direct messages to the account,” said Hannah Wolfe to The Fix in an email.
The group did contact the Tribe for Death account “to let them know that their messaging may be potentially harmful to women who have experienced abortion and come across the things they’ve posted,” Wolfe added.
“The group says they are completely pro-woman and want people to always have a safe space to go and feel that the posts made by the Tribe for Death account could hinder women from finding the support that they need.”
Some of the horrific content on the Tribe for Death page includes posts mocking preborn babies, as well as pro-life tactics that involve educating people about fetal development.
“One particularly disturbing video shows a preborn child as being represented by a spoonful of red jam and then being made into a sandwich for consumption,” an article from SFLA reads.
“The caption of the post is: ‘Hey @tribeforlifewm [the Tribe for Life’s Instagram page] do you want a sandwich?”
Wolfe says that pro-life William & Mary students have repeatedly been discriminated against and harassed both on campus and online despite “consistently attempting” to have a normal and healthy discussion about abortion to try to “find common ground.”
“[I]nstead,” Wolfe says, “they are met with anger and malice.”
In an unrelated but similar type of scenario from back in 2019, a Students for Life event in Rochester, Minn., was disrupted by abortion lovers who cut off Students for Life of America Northern Regional Coordinator Noah Maldonado as he was speaking.
At one point, it was believed that one of the pro-death cult members was carrying a bomb and planning to blow up the pro-life attendees.
