She knows how to “reign” in the horses.
Queen Elizabeth II beamed Friday as she made a surprise appearance at the 2022 Royal Windsor Horse Show amid growing health concerns.
The 96-year-old was photographed with a massive smile on her face as she waved to her subjects on day two of the event, which was held near her current residence, Windsor Castle.

The reigning sovereign looked extra giddy as she was handed a trophy after her horse Balmoral Leia won the Highland Class.
The Queen was also seen glowing as she was driven around the event in a green Range Rover. She rolled the windows down and leaned against the door as she said hello to attendees.

Her Royal Highness wore a blue sweater and a long gray skirt and accessorized with a patent leather black handbag, a silk scarf tied around her hair and orange-tinted sunglasses.
“She was in great spirits,” an eyewitness told People. “People she knows in the horse world were being brought to her to talk to her at the window. You can see she is in really good form.”

Aided by a walking stick, she eventually made her way to her seat, where she was joined by her son Prince Edward in the stands.

The monarch’s first public appearance in weeks came as a surprise amid fears for her health.
In October 2021, she was hospitalized for a night, though the reason remains unclear. She also started using a cane “for her comfort,” a source told Page Six at the time.

E! News caught up with Kyle Richards during NBCUniversal’s upfronts presentation on May 16, and she exclusively revealed that season 12 could easily be her last.
“I always say, ‘I don’t know,’ and each season I think, ‘Well maybe I can do one more,'” Kyle said. “And sometimes I’m just like, ‘How can I keep doing this?’ especially when I get really upset, like this last season when we ended.”
In fact, when filming wrapped on the season that’s currently playing out on Bravo, Kyle was adamant that her time as a Housewife had come to an end. “I was like, ‘There’s absolutely no way,'” she recalled. “‘I’m done. I’m finished. I want to live my life in peace. I can’t take this.'”
The feeling could easily pass, though. Kyle said she often just needs time to “digest” each season. “I don’t know,” she added. “I just take it day by day.”
Kyle didn’t offer an explanation as to why filming the latest season of RHOBH took such a toll on her, but we do know that she and her co-star sister Kathy Hilton had a falling out. As Kyle put it on the May 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live, “We were having a little bit of a rough patch after the season.”
Charles Sykes/Bravo
At one point, Kyle and Kathy weren’t even speaking. But when Kyle’s best friend Lorene Sheapassed away earlier this month after struggles with mental illness, the pair quickly reunited.
“My sisters and I are speaking again because they’ve also known Lorene since she was seven,” Kyle said on WWHL, explaining that she was able to reconcile with her other sister, Kim Richards, as well. “So, you know, life works in funny ways.”
Still grieving the tragic loss of Lorene, Kyle called for mental health reform during her conversation with E! News. “I watched my best friend Lorene—who was my best friend since I was seven years old, one of the closest people in my life who I spoke to on a daily basis—go from being the most outgoing, fun, happy, wife and mom, to only about a year and a half ago, start to struggle with depression that kind of came out of nowhere,” Kyle said.
Citing Ashley Judd‘s recent Good Morning America appearance—during which Ashley revealed that her mother, country music superstar Naomi Judd, had died by suicide—Kyle echoed her words about mental illnesses and depression. “This disease lies to you,” she said. “[Lorene] really felt there was no hope for her and that she would never come back. And there was no way to get her the help that she needed because we were constantly told, ‘Well, she’s an adult. She doesn’t want to come here.'”
“And now she’s gone,” Kyle continued. “And we’re all left to suffer, knowing that if she could have gotten the help, maybe she would still be here today. So, changes definitely have to be made.”
Noting that May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Kyle urged people to fight the stigma placed on mental illnesses and suicide. “I don’t want it to be something that’s so uncomfortable to talk about,” she said. “If [Lorene] had cancer, we lost her to cancer, we would be talking openly about that.”

Watch Keri Russell Stay Tight-Lipped About “Star Wars”
Like outer space, the Star Wars universe is full of new territory to explore.
So it’s a good thing Disney has no plans to slow down on their expansion of the Star Wars franchise. The streamer is set to release five new shows in the coming years, with additional seasons in production for series like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy thinks it only makes sense that they continue to build upon George Lucas‘ films, telling Vanity Fair, “He was influenced by Flash Gordon and cliff-hangers on Saturdays at movie theaters. All of that informed what the DNA of Star Wars is, which is why I think it’s just organic that we made the transition into television.”
But she also admits that these shows are not an easy endeavor. “Anyone who comes into the Star Wars universe needs to know that it’s a three-, four-, five-year commitment,” she explained. “That’s what it takes. You can’t step in for a year and shoot something and then walk away…. It requires that kind of nurturing.”
So naturally, it’s going to be quite some time before these shows hit the small screen. Here’s what you need to know:
When is The Mandalorian season three returning to Disney+?
The streamer estimates that Pedro Pascal and Grogu (a.k.a. baby Yoda) will be back in action by late 2022 or early 2023.
Director Carl Weathers seemingly confirmed that filming wrapped in March, replying to a fan blog’s post about completing production, “And what a season of WONDERFULNESS!”

What is Diego Luna’s spy series Andor about?
Cassian Andor’s rebel spy takes center stage in Andor, which premieres this summer, according to Lucasfilm.
The 12-episode show will explore Cassian’s life five years before the events of Rogue One, with Luna describing the series as a “migrant journey” to Vanity Fair. “That feeling of having to move is behind this story, very profoundly and very strong,” he shared. “That shapes you as a person. It defines you in many ways, and what you are willing to do.”
Stellan Skarsgård, Kyle Soller, Denise Gough and Genevieve O’Reilly round out the cast.

Who is starring in Ahsoka?
Rosario Dawson brings to life the character, which grew its popular fan-base in the animated series The Clone Wars. Hayden Christensen, who reprised his role as Anakin Skywalker (a.k.a. Darth Vader) in Obi-Wan Kenobi, will star alongside Dawson, whose character was formerly his apprentice. In addition, Ahsoka will seeEwan McGregor‘s partner, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, make her Star Wars debut. The Obi-Wan Kenobi star joked, “Our little boy has been born into this massive Star Wars family. He will either embrace it or really go the other way.”
The series is expected to premiere in 2023.
What is The Acolyte?
While Star Wars fans are familiar with the characters in other shows, the Acolyte is more mysterious as it’s set in the High Republic era. Showrunner Leslye Headland said of the upcoming series, “We’re taking a look at the political and personal and spiritual things that came up in a time period that we don’t know much about.”
She continued, “My question when watching The Phantom Menace was always like, ‘Well, how did things get to this point?’ How did we get to a point where a Sith lord can infiltrate the Senate and none of the Jedi pick up on it? Like, what went wrong? What are the scenarios that led us to this moment?”
Headland shared that casting is currently underway, so don’t hold your breath for this one.

What else can Star Wars fans expect?
There’s a new show in the very early stages of development, like so early it only has the code name Grammar Rodeo, according to Vanity Fair. All that’s known about the plot is that it takes place after the fall of the Empire.
Director Jon Watts and Spider-Man: Homecoming writer Chris Ford are the executive producing the show, which Lucasfilm insiders described to Vanity Fair as “a galactic version of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s.” Casting is underway.
On the movie front, there’s plans for aTaika Waititi-directed film, as well as Patty Jenkins‘ previously announced Rogue Squadron. But again, fans are going to have to wait.
