‘American Pie’ star Thomas Ian Nicholas’ wife files for divorce

May 13, 2022 | 8:14pm

Actor Thomas Ian Nicholas and his wife, Colette Marino, are calling it quits.

Marino, 46, has filed for a divorce from the “American Pie” star, 41, according to documents obtained by TMZ. The house music artist, known as DJ Collette, cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup.

Documents indicate that Marino and Nicholas — whose legal name is listed as Thomas N. Scarnechia — have been separated since September 3, 2019.

The couple wed in 2007 and welcomed their first child, son Nolan, in 2011, followed by daughter Zoë in 2016.

Marino is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their kids and is looking to block the court’s ability to award support to either parent.

She’d also like their prenuptial agreement to be enforced by the judge.

In addition to co-starring in teen comedy classic “American Pie” alongside Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan and Eugene Levy, Nicholas was a child actor who starred in 1993’s “Rookie of the Year” as Chicago Cubs player Henry Rowengartner.

Just weeks ago, the actor channeled the sports drama as he threw out the first pitch of the season for the Chicago Cubs.

The “A Kid in King Arthur’s Court” actor also sang “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch of the game at Wrigley Field.

(EVENT RECAP) Mr. Chicken x DJ Drewski // ‘2 Piece’ EP Release Party

Last weekend, melodic hip-hop artist Mr. Chicken dropped his two-track EP ‘2 Piece’ featuring singles “Runnin” and “OTW 2 The Party.” He co-hosted a packed-out release party with fellow New Jersey native DJ Drewski. The two wowed the crowd by handing out actual boxes of chicken and a large styrofoam cup of juice. Manager Stragglife-Trav is credited for the event’s rollout; a move reminiscent of Diddy’s Big-Mac introduction of Craig Mac and Notorious BIG in the early days of BadBoy Records.

SOURCE SPORTS: Knicks Add Former Rival Tim Hardaway As a Talent Scout

It appears the New York Knicks have locked in an old rival from the 90s to help mold the franchise’s future.

On Thursday, Marc Berman of the New York Post reported that the Knicks had hired Tim Hardaway Sr. as their newest scout. The franchise didn’t publicly announce their acquisition of the former star point man this season.

Hardaway served as an assistant coach to former Detroit Pistons’ head coach Stan Van Gundy from 2014-to 2018.

Hardaway was the heart and soul of the 90’s Miami Heat, who had lengthy playoff battles with the Knicks throughout the decade. Before that, he was a member of the RunTMC Golden State Warriors and Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin. In their time, the trio was an offensive nightmare for their opponents.

After almost 20 years of waiting from retirement, his name is set to be immortalized in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2022 on September 10th. If Hardaway can bring anything to a dormant Knicks franchise, scouting-wise, it would be a needed welcome to the organization.
