Olly Alexander has released new song, “Sooner or Later,” a synth-pop bop about chasing after a lost love who broke his heart. It’s the second single from Night Call, out Jan. 21.

“I swear I saw you on my street/Your face, your smile was vanishing,” the It’s a Sin star sings on the earworm. “‘Cause we’re forever playing hide and seek/But I can’t find what I cannot see/You’re a heartbreaker/You’ll be the death of me.”

The track — co-written by Alexander, Clarence Coffee Jr., and Mark Ralph, who also produced the record — is the artist’s follow-up to “Starstruck.” The LP’s first single served as the first taste of Years & Years as a solo project for Alexander, following multi-instrumentalists Emre Turkmen and Mikey Goldsworthy’s departure last March.

On sticking with the group’s original name in his solo pursuits, Alexander told The Guardian: “It was a tricky decision in some ways, because I think, possibly, it might have been a bit simpler for everyone if I had just been like, ‘Oh, I’m a solo artist now.’ But I just didn’t want to.”

He added that the pandemic played a part in his upcoming album, which he said will be filled with “uptempo music you could dance to in a club.” The lockdown left him without the nightlife, sex, and hookups he was used to — so he imagined their return on his new album Night Call.

“A lot of the songs are about sex and hookups because it was something that was absent from my life,” he said. “I was trying to manifest some physical contact and thinking about the past few years before lockdown. It’s not like I was having tons of sex, but I was having some sex.”

Alexander’s new LP comes about a year after he starred as Ritchie Tozer — a sexually liberated college student, who, during the start of the AIDS epidemic, dreams of becoming an actor — in HBO Max’s It’s a Sin.

Night Call is Years & Years’ third album, following the band’s 2018 LP Palo Santo and 2015’s Communion.

T.I. wants to bring them out. Says, “Ain’t nobody f***ing with me.”

The Atlanta native jumped on his Instagram live over the weekend to air out a discrepancy. Who makes the best music?

“MF’s can’t f**k with me in no way, shape, form or fashion when it comes to doing no music,” declared T.I. “I got a lot of other sh*t going on so I don’t do music on no consistent basis.”

The “Live Your Life” rapper continued, “I don’t depend on that sh*t to feed me, you hear me? But when you’re talking about doing music and when you’re talking about cutting records, you talking about putting sh*t out, talking about making sh*t that’s better than anything out there. Man, ain’t nobody f***ing with me! Nobody f***ing with me.”

The actor and entrepreneur made it clear of his place in the Hip Hop orbit.

“Jay and Nas, you need to bring them… They who you need. Jay-Z, Nas, Wayne, Ye… They who you need. Bring them, Pusha T, yeah, all them,” the Bankhead representor demanded.

“Keep trying to goddamn throw my name in the circle, in the mix… ain’t nobody f***ing me, keep playing…”

Christina Haack & Joshua Hall
Not Waiting to Get Hitched
… Life’s a Beach Right Now!!!

1/17/2022 10:20 AM PT

Christina Haack isn’t married to Joshua Hall just yet … but they sure look like they’re already in the honeymoon phase.

The HGTV star is down in Cabo with her fiancé, where they hit the beach on Saturday … and packed on a lot of PDA while facing the waves. Doesn’t look like they ever fully made it into the water either — as you can see, they were a little preoccupied.

Check out the pics … you see CH hugging up on Josh from behind, from the side and just about every other direction … all while showing off her massive diamond ring. Love birds, no doubt, and if this is any indication … their “I dos” can’t come fast enough.

Christina confirmed last year Josh had, indeed, popped the question and that she’d said yes … which was already suspected after photos of her wearing the engagement ring leaked. They’ve been together for about a year or so now — the couple reportedly first started dating sometime in 2021, and things obviously moved quickly … because Christina is ready to be a bride anew.

She finalized her divorce from Ant Anstead just last year — this after 3 years of marriage — and moved on from her previous ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, back in 2018.
