Group of ‘Experts’ Pressures Spotify to Censor Joe Rogan

A group of 270 scientists and doctors are pressuring Spotify to crack down on content from Joe Rogan, the most popular podcaster in the U.S. One of the group’s complaints? His interview with doctor and scientist, Dr. Robert Malone.

Rogan isn’t merely the most popular podcaster in the country — he is, by some metrics, the most popular figure across the entire media.

It was recently reported that Rogan gets an average of 11 million views per podcast episode. The podcast’s closest competitor is Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News, which gets an average of 3.21 million views.

Like Rogan, Tucker Carlson is also frequently the target of censorship efforts, but these have not dented his dominating position in cable news.

The group of experts who wrote to Spotify asking them to censor their most valuable personality objected to Rogan’s interview with Dr. Robert Malone, a doctor and scientist who conducted some of the earliest research on mRNA technology, which is used in Pfizer and Moderna’s coronavirus vaccines.

Dr. Malone, who objects to the use of mRNA in COVID-19 vaccines, was permanently blacklisted from Twitter.

Malone’s interview with Rogan, which was released just a few days after his ban from Twitter, was one of the podcaster’s more viral episodes.

The doctor’s contention that western societies are suffering from “mass formation psychosis,” a kind of collective hysteria brought about by shared feelings of fear and manipulation from outside authorities, proved particularly viral, with clips of Malone’s discussion of the concept viewed millions of times on social media.

While the specific term “mass formation psychosis” has not been widely used until now, incidents of mass hysteria, such as the “dancing plagues” of medieval Europe, have been documented in history.

Watch: White House Releases Pre-Recorded Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Address as Joe Biden Spends Holiday in Delaware

The White House released a pre-recorded video address of President Joe Biden on Monday marking Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Video of the president appeared to show Biden delivering his address from his video set across the street from the White House — even as he spent the day at his home in Delaware.

The video focused on Dr. King’s legacy, using the occasion to complain about election security laws supported by Republicans in the United States.

“The attack on our democracy is real from the January 6th insurrection to the onslaught of Republicans’ anti-voting laws in a number of states,” Biden said in the prerecorded video address.

No press was allowed into the pre-recorded address, so it was not interrupted by reporters shouting questions at the end of the event.

“It’s not just enough to praise him, we must commit to his unfinished work to deliver jobs and justice to protect the sacred right to vote, the right from which all other rights flow,” Biden said, marking the holiday.

Biden’s address was a rehash of his speech in Georgia, but this time he did not again compare his political rivals to historical racist figures.

“I know where I stand and it’s time for every elected official in America to make it clear where they stand,” he said.

Majority of Americans Now Identify as Republican After Massive 14 Percent Swing in One Year!

The majority of Americans now identify as Republican after a 14 point swing to the right in 2021.

A newly released Gallup survey found that over the course of 2021, the Democrats fell from a nine-percentage-point advantage in the first quarter to Republicans having a five-point edge in the fourth quarter.

“The GOP has held as much as a five-point advantage in a total of only four quarters since 1991. The Republicans last held a five-point advantage in party identification and leaning in early 1995, after winning control of the House of Representatives for the first time since the 1950s. Republicans had a larger advantage only in the first quarter of 1991, after the U.S. victory in the Persian Gulf War led by then-President George H.W. Bush.,” the pollsters reported.

The pollsters believe that much of the shift is due to the rising disapproval of Joe Biden since he took office.

“Democrat Joe Biden enjoyed relatively high ratings after taking office on Jan. 20, and his approval stayed high through the early summer as COVID-19 infections dramatically decreased after millions of Americans got vaccinated against the disease. A summer surge of infections tied to the delta variant of the coronavirus made it clear the pandemic was not over in the U.S., and Biden’s approval ratings began to sag. Later, the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan caused Biden’s ratings to fall further, into the low 40s. His ratings remain low as the U.S. battles rising inflation and yet another surge of COVID-19 infections, tied to the omicron variant of the virus,” the report states.

The report added, “with control of the House of Representatives and Senate at stake in this year’s midterm elections, party preferences will be a key indicator of which party will be better positioned to gain majorities in the next session of Congress.”
