LeBron James is currently on his 19th signature sneaker with the Swoosh, but that hasn’t stopped him from revisiting and retroing some of his earlier models. As the world waits for some of the most iconic Nike LeBron 9 styles to return, “the kid from Akron” and his Nike family are outfitting their ninth mainline collaboration in an all-new “South Coast” colorway.
Akin to some styles released during King James’ time with the Miami Heat, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a number of neon hues and South Florida-appropriate graphics. “Black” and “Dutch Blue” take over most of the 10-year-old design, but “Lime Glow” and “Fusion Red” flair across everything from the profile swooshes to the collar lining help animate the pair in Miami-inspired flair. Nike LeBron logos appear all throughout the offering, but palm tree patterns are isolated onto the shoes’ inner lining, perhaps suggesting the “South Coast” colorway was scrapped from the silhouette’s original roster of arrangements.
Enjoy detailed images of James’ latest LeBron 9 retro here below, and find pairs hitting Nike.com on January 20th.

’13 Reasons Why’ Producer Lists Grand Windsor Square Colonial
Michael Sugar, Lauren Wall Sugar
Windsor Square, Los Angeles, Calif.
B. Cooper Corbett
10,821 square feet, 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms
Less than a month ago, Michael Sugar put his $6.3 million ocean-view mansion in the OC community of Dana Point up for sale. Now the Oscar-winning producer and his wife Lauren have decided to clean house entirely in California — the couple is also selling their Colonial-style main residence in Los Angeles. The asking price is nearly $14 million for those stately digs, which the Sugars picked up back in 2018, paying $9 million to previous owner Don Hankey.
Built in the early 1900s for produce wholesaler Thomas O’Neill, and designed by architect B. Cooper Corbett, the home’s exterior retains its historic charm, though the interiors have been fully modernized. Ritzy amenities of the three-story, 11,000-square-foot mansion include a plush movie theater and billiard room with wet bar and mirrored gym, plus a lounge room that spills out to a covered terrace ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining.
Resting on a nearly half-acre parcel, and separated from the street and sidewalk by a wide walkway flanked by a manicured lawn, the red brick and white stucco structure is crowned by a trio of dormer windows. The front door holds court beneath a columned and arched portico, and opens into sun-drenched interiors punctuated throughout by stone accents, rich hardwood floors, intricate moldings and coffered ceilings, along with a Crestron home-automation system.
A double-height foyer greets and displays a crystal chandelier and grand wraparound staircase. From there, a spacious formal living room boasts a fireplace; and a gourmet kitchen is outfitted with custom cabinetry, marble countertops, an eat-in island, and Wolf and SubZero appliances. A separate butler’s pantry leads to a huge blush-colored formal dining room, and an adjoining fireside family room has French doors that open to the backyard.
Upstairs, a library/office is adorned with ingrained shelves, while the sumptuous master retreat features a fireplace, private balcony, showroom-style closet, and marble bath equipped with dual vanities and a soaking tub. As for the picturesque backyard, you’ll find a firepit area, built-in BBQ, children’s playhouse, and large rectangular pool and spa. There’s also a detached guesthouse with a full kitchen, living room and bath.
Sugar is CEO and founder of Sugar23, a management, production and private-equity company with a multiyear Netflix deal. He garnered a Best Picture Oscar for “Spotlight,” and Peabody Awards for the TV shows “The Knick” and “Dickinson.” Additional credits include “13 Reasons Why,” “The Laundromat,” “Maniac,” “The Report” and “Worth.”

Gnarhunters Tease Upcoming Nike SB Dunk Collab
Featuring removable Swooshes.
The Nike SB Dunk is poised to have another huge year in 2022 with several collaborative styles on the horizon.
One of the pairs that are coming is this all-black makeup of the SB Dunk Low designed in partnership with the skate and surf label Gnarhunters. Newly leaked images from both Gnarhunters on its Instagram story and leaker account @Die_sel666 show that the collab will feature an unconventional terry-like material combined with matching nylon overlay panels on the upper. The collab also features removable Swooshes while Gnarhunters branding appears on the tongue and heel tab. Breaking up the stealthy execution is a yellow insole and a white outsole.
Prior to this collab, Gnarhunters and Nike SB joined forces in 2019 for the first time to deliver a similarly styled SB Blazer Mid.
Despite an early look, release info for the Gnarhunters x Nike SB Dunk Low hasn’t been announced by the brands, but check back soon to Sole Collector for updates.
Bad Bunny x Adidas Forum Powerphase Collab Is Coming
Pictured here is the Bad Bunny x Adidas Forum Powerphase, a hybrid model that combines design elements from the Forum and the Powerphase. The shoe also includes key details from previous Bad Bunny x Adidas sneakers including dual tongues and heel tabs, while the tongue tag features a logo of an eye. The Puerto Rican rapper’s first name, Benito, also appears on the lateral side.
In addition, Bad Bunny and Adidas are expected to drop a new iteration of the Response CL soon after images of the shoe recently surfaced.
As of now, release details for this Bad Bunny x Adidas Forum Powerphase collab have not yet been confirmed by the brand but check back soon to Sole Collector for updates.
