See Eric Church Pay Tribute to Meat Loaf With ‘I’d Do Anything for Love’ Cover at Detroit Concert

Eric Church paid tribute to Meat Loaf — who inspired the country singer’s Heart & Soul triple album — by covering “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)” during his Detroit concert Saturday, one day after news of Meat Loaf’s death at the age of 74.

Billboard reports that, prior to performing his song “Springsteen,” Church delivered a snippet of Meat Loaf’s 1993 comeback single in memory of the singer who influenced Church’s 2021 LP.

Lovely Meat Loaf tribute last night from @ericchurch.

In April 2021, Church spoke to Rolling Stone about how his Heart & Soul songs “Heart of the Night” and “Russian Roulette” were indebted to Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell.

“‘Heart of the Night’ is rock opera,” Church said. “There’s a part on ‘Heart of the Night’ where it goes [sings], ‘The still beating heart of the night!’ and the [drums] hit. And [producer Jay Joyce] goes, ‘We can’t do all those hits.” I said, ‘Dude, it’s Meat Loaf, let’s do it.’ It’s overdramatic. It’s over-passionate… It was over the top, but it never felt wrong.”

In which I tell @ericchurch his dramatic new songs sound like Meat Loaf. Watch the full intvu, if ya wanna:

Church continued, “I don’t know what people think of that, and I don’t really give a shit. I said we’re going to do it and we’ve got to commit to it. It’s Meat Loaf — there’s no half Loaf. It was fun for me to get into… You don’t have to be so self-conscious that it’s, ‘Well, I can’t sing that because what if people hear it?’ Try it. Sing it. Go falsetto.”

Church is the latest artist to honor the Bat Out of Hell singer following his death Thursday, joining Cher, Brian May, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Meat Loaf’s Fight Club co-star Edward Norton and more.

Man Arrested After Racist Tirade, Attack at Connecticut Smoothie Store

CT Man Arrested After Racist Tirade
Chucked Drink at Workers

A Connecticut man got thrown into jail after he lost it at a smoothie store — where he was recorded going on a racist tirade against the employees … not to mention getting physical.

48-year-old James Iannazzo was arrested Saturday in Fairfield, CT and got booked on charges of intimidation based on bias, breach of peace and criminal trespass … this according to local reports.

Iannazzo is said to have purchased a smoothie from a Robeks, only to return 30 minutes later in a rage after claiming his kid had an allergic reaction due to someone putting peanuts in their drink … and the guy wanted to know which of the workers was responsible.

Part of the interaction was captured on camera. The one employee initially dealing with him says she’s not sure how it happened, and then Iannazzo starts to accuse the other workers in the back. As the girl walks away, he throws his drink at them from behind the counter.

A second employee gets in his face (from a distance) and tells him to scram, and that they’re calling the police. That’s when he calls her an “immigrant,” and continues to insult them.

Iannazzo also appears to try and breach the employee-only entrance, and the workers scramble to block the door to prevent him from coming in — this while he demands to speak to a manager and continues yelling. It’s scary … and in the end, he was busted.

Word is, this guy was a financial advisor for a local Merrill Lynch branch — and as soon as he was ID’d, the company canned him … saying they don’t tolerate that type of behavior.

Pregnant Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Shows Off Her Growing Baby Bump In Gorgeous Selfies

Hot mama! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who is expecting baby no. 2 with partner Jason Statham, took to Instagram to share gorgeous new photos of her and her growing baby bump. Check them out below.

Jason Statham & Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Are Expecting Baby No. 2

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is showing off her pregnancy glow.

The model, 34, took to Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 23, to share a collection of gorgeous mirror selfies that feature her cradling her growing baby bump while dressed in a tight brown maxi dress. Alongside captioning the post with an hourglass emoji and a baby angel emoji, the model also adorably tagged her action star fiancé, Jason Statham, on her bump in the first image.

In August 2021, Rosie announced that she was expecting her second child with the Hobbs & Shaw actor by posting a photo of her baby bump on Instagram and writing, “Taaa daahhh!!” The couple already share one son together, Jack, who was born in 2017 and recently made a rare appearance on his mom’s Instagram earlier this month.

Love from Kourtney Kardashian as well as Rosie’s former Victoria’s Secret Angel pals Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge quickly flooded the post’s comments shortly after the model shared her effortlessly chic snapshots, with Aldridge writing, “Beautiful!!!!!”

This isn’t the first time Rosie that has showed off her strong mirror selfie skills during her second pregnancy. In November, the model put her bold maternity style on display in a mini-photo shoot on Instagram too.

When asked by Hailey Bieber for motherhood advice in a video for her YouTube channel back in December, Rosie said that it was pivotal to both “follow your instincts” and be “really kind” to yourself along the way.

“[Be] easy on yourself, because it’s full on and it’s a juggle, whether you’re a stay-at-home mum or whether you’re a working mum,” she replied. “You take on a lot.”

The model added that she felt “really lucky” that there was a group of women in her life that she could lean on during her pregnancies too.

“I can call my mum, on my bathroom floor, sobbing, asking for her for advice. And I think you do, you lean into your grandmother’s, your mother’s advice, older women around you that have been through it,” Rosie explained. “The amount of like, camaraderie and support that I felt from women was just like nothing else I had experienced. And it really is just a wonderful bond to have between other mothers.”
