2 Fetus found on Same City Bus in Baltimore; Probe Ongoing as Community in Shock after Grim Discovery
Homicide detectives in Baltimore are currently investigating the discovery of two fetuses found on a public bus over the weekend, as reported.
A fetus was discovered on a seat of a Maryland Transit Administration Bus in East Baltimore on June 1, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
Det. Freddie Talbert confirmed that on June 3 another fetus was discovered on the same bus.
The driver discovered both fetuses, which were stillborn, as confirmed by the medical examiner’s office, as reported by authorities.
A woman who frequently takes the bus shared with the TV station that she is a mother and a grandmother, and was taken aback by the news of the discovery.
Following the discovery of the fetus, both the MTA Police and Baltimore police, including a homicide unit, promptly responded.
According to the police, the investigation into the case is being classified as a “questionable death.”
When questioned about the potential origin of the fetuses found on the bus, Talbert stated that it is still too early in the investigation to provide any definitive answers.
Talbert stated that the investigation is currently in progress.
