16-year-old Teen boy Shot in Leg in Bronx, Police looking for targeted attack possibility
New York City, NY: On Tuesday, a juvenile was shot outside of a Bronx bodega; the incident is currently under investigation by the police.
At about 7 p.m., police were dispatched to 1772 Randall Ave. in response to gunshot complaints.
Officers discovered a 16-year-old male with a leg gunshot wound when they reached the scene.
He is in stable condition after being transferred to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.
The person of interest is a man who was last seen dressed entirely in black. He quickly left the scene.
The inquiry is still underway, and no one has been arrested at this time.
The shooting has happened just after few days when a 13-year-old teen boy was shot dead by rival gang members. The NYPD has stated the growing influence of gang members on kids and how teen boys are making small gangs and undertaking all kinds of illicit activities to make name.

The authorities have started an investigation to look for the possibility of targeted attack on the teen. Also, the gang affiliation and other signs would also be investigated.
The officers are now looking foe the suspect who immediately fled the scene after the shooting. The CCTV of the local shops are being used to track down the suspect in black hoodie.
