16-year-old Riddled by Hail of Bullets in Targeted Attack in Louisiana; Family Devastated by the Loss
Authorities are currently on the lookout for the individual responsible for the tragic death of a 16-year-old during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Aariah Henry was discovered with gunshot wounds at approximately 2 a.m. in the vicinity of Airline Highway and Central Avenue, according to the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office. Henry was transported to a hospital where she passed away.
Authorities released footage of the incident, capturing the moment when a vehicle pulled up alongside the car Henry was occupying. Multiple gunshots are discharged from the driver’s side of the other vehicle. A video captures a shocking scene as the shooter leans out of the driver’s side window while Henry’s car executes a U-turn. According to deputies, there were several other individuals present in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
According to deputies, after gathering witness statements and reviewing camera footage, it seems that Henry’s death was a deliberate and planned attack.
