16-Year-Old Molested in Subway in Brooklyn; Police looking for Suspects caught in Video
Brooklyn, NY: The New York Police Department reports that authorities are attempting to identify two males who assaulted a 16-year-old female on the Brooklyn subway last week using a cellphone video.
At approximately 9:00 p.m. on February 27, the victim was traversing Nostrand Avenue en route to the subway station when, according to police, two males hurled water and soda. According to police, after she boarded train No. 2 at the Newkirk Avenue–Little Haiti station, the perpetrators followed her onto the train.
Subsequently, a suspect spat water in the face of the victim. Police say that after the girl shoved the suspect, the assailant struck and punched her. Authorities say a second suspect then leapt to his feet and kicked the girl in the face.
The suspects disembarked from the train at the station on Flatbush Avenue. As per police reports, there have been no arrests.
