130 Pounds of High-Grade Weed Confiscated in Rankin County, Mississippi

Rankin County, Mississippi: Rankin County Sheriff’s Office took 130 pounds of weed from a driver they stopped on Friday.

The deputies stopped the commercial car that was driving on Interstate 20. The Criminal Interdiction Team stopped it for a traffic check.

Deputies found several bags full of high-grade weed in the trunk of a car. The vehicle was a commercial vehicle and the driver was delivering a package to the mentioned address.

The drugs, which were worth about $390,000, came from California and were on their way to a southern state.

A police report said that the truck driver didn’t know that drugs were in the car and wasn’t charged. The authorities opened a probe into the matter.
