13-year-old Teen Dead from Stray Bullet; Was at a Food Court in Washington; Family Devastated from Tragic Loss

A tragedy happened when a 13-year-old girl was fatally shot at a mall in Washington. A 16-year-old male has been taken into custody in relation to her tragic death.

Lynnwood Police Department confirmed the fatality. According to authorities, the unfortunate incident involving a young girl occurred when a stray bullet was discharged during a disturbance at the food court.

An altercation between two groups of friends turned violent when a teenage boy brandished a firearm and opened fire at a mall. Despite not having any affiliation with the groups, Woods-Johnson unfortunately became a victim of the bullet.

Right after, all the young people involved in the incident quickly left the mall. Tragic outcome for Woods-Johnson.

Authorities swiftly responded by making the image of the alleged gunman available to the public. That evening, the child captured on the surveillance footage was accompanied to the police station by his mother as reported by The Irish Star.

The Lynwood Police Department has announced that a 16-year-old male from Edmonds will be taken into custody on charges of murder.
