13-Year-Old Apprehended in Naples after Hot Police Chase in Red Hot Dodge Challenger
Naples, FL: After leading a Florida Highway Trooper on a pursuit, a 13-year-old was apprehended in Florida early Wednesday morning, according to FHP.
A Dodge Challenger was pulled down by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday in Naples near Wilson Boulevard for failing to maintain lane integrity.
Just as the trooper was about to approach the Challenger, the driver sped off and shut off the lights. A little later down Immokalee Road, close to Quarry Drive, the Dodge came to a stop after the trooper had pursued it for approximately four miles.
According to FHP, the driver, a 13-year-old, was apprehended without incident for fleeing and eluding as well as driving without a license. He is currently being processed into the Collier County Jail.
